So I was able to convert some giftcard cash into actual money, so I plan on choosing between 3-4 full winners! Then, I will have some leftover for negotiations. Please enter!
So. After the hellish week I just had, I need some retail therapy. Except, I don't really like shopping for clothes or other things "normal" people go shopping for. I would love to have a new character design. I have a few I have purchased from some amazing people that are in the works, but I would love something new. After being inspired by a few other people's contests, I have decided to do my own!
THE RULES
- Must include some sort of usable reference sheet - I retain the right to negotiate the purchase of any non-winning designs! (Which means before you sell it elsewhere, I would love the chance to buy it from you. After this though, you are more than welcome to sell them elsewhere)
- Must be on lines that can be used outside of deviant art or custom lines (I prefer custom lines!)
- Must be submitted via comment on this journal by DECEMBER 17th (This is my birthday!)
- (If nothing comes in that I like, I will split prizes between entrants, but I doubt that will be an issue!)

LIKES
- Must be a horned equine (I don't care what kind of horns! Ram, deer, a variety...)
- Must be somewhat normal colored or patterned
- I love bays, dappled grays, duns, dun patterns, bird catcher spots, bridling, lacing, roans
- I love space, science, ballet, lovecraft, heavy metal, classical and LOTR
- Unique markings (like a natural skull face or a marking that appears to be some sort of symbol)
- Favorite colors: orange, black, red, ballet pink, earth-tones or rare hues( Colour Theory in a Nutshell )
- Ornate jewelry or headpieces
- Some feathers in jewelry (not on the body)
- dark body/light hair light body/dark hair contrast
- flowers
- lion tails
- Warmblood, larger builds
- black and gray chimerism or minimalist paint markings (like up one hip)

DISLIKES
- Non-natural, repeating patterns (so I don't like checkered horses, horses with fishnet stockings, diamond patterns, etc)
- All unnatural colors (so I don't want a purple horse with orange hair)
- Ocean themes (
me no likie the sea)- Wings, because manipping them makes me want to cry
- Overly "themed" - like a horse whose design is clearly based on some pop culture reference
- Any modern related markings (ie words, music notes, medical symbols, gears, clocks, etc you get the idea)
- Appaloosa or strong paint markings
- Swirls or curly markings
- chunky armor
- Arabian, pony, gaited or draft builds
- Palominos, chestnuts, pain black horses
- bird patterns or lots of bird colorations
- I am not going to put examples of designs I am not fond of because I find it rude
